Laura Starkey, a third-generation Floridian born to the famed Pinellas/Pasco Starkey cattle ranching family and raised on land now occupied by Heartwood and Starkey Wilderness Preserves, shares her family's story of cattle, suburban development and conservation of the land in our very own, little pocket of Florida.
