Sadie Johnson Memorial Scholarship Winner

Congratulations to Shireen Isakson, winner of this years’ Largo Area Historical Society’s Sadie Johnson Memorial Scholarship

Shireen, a senior at Largo High School, was presented the award by LAHS scholarship committee member Carla Kerns at the high school on April 15th. Shireen was selected for her outstanding academic achievement, her involvement in extracurricular activities and dedication to community service, as well as her excellent essay on Largo history. She has been accepted at The University of Florida and will begin classes there this Fall.
